Who We Are and What We Do
In 2019, God called our founder, Casey Rolape, to start a ministry to teach, encourage, and equip women to live a life of purpose for the glory of God. She sensed God leading her to create a workshop where women would gather to talk about the goodness of God and how experiencing that goodness moves us to want to do things for His glory. Over time, God continued to reveal to her the components to include in the ministry. Over the last two years, God took what started as a tiny seed and has grown it into a multi-faceted ministry called Worth the Risk.

What We Cover at a Workshop:

1. Identity
We believe that identity is the starting point to living a life of purpose. Because of this, it is imperative that each woman who attends a workshop is reminded of who they are NOT (past mistakes, failures, people’s opinions of them, etc.) and are reminded of who they ARE (a child of the ONE TRUE KING).

2. Freedom
Knowing that our identity is forever secure through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ allows us to walk freely in the purposes God has for us. We are no longer chained to shame and guilt. In this section, we talk about the freedom that is offered to us in Christ and how He uses our stories to help others walk in freedom, too.

3. Courage
Living a life of purpose requires us to take some risks. We look at Queen Esther’s story and how God used her decision to take a godly, obedient risk to impact eternity. And just like Queen Esther, God has invited us to do Kingdom work, too.
4. Joy in Suffering
Joy awaits us when we walk in the purposes God has for us. With that being said, we also understand there are times in life when each of us walks through suffering. And while suffering is difficult, God can use it for good. In this section, we discuss how God uses hard things for His glory. Knowing that God wins in the end allows us to be joyful in all seasons.
5. Unique Purpose
Ephesians 2:10 tells us that God has works for each of us to accomplish. In this section, we discuss what the Bible has to say about the purpose of our gifts which are to bring God glory and to benefit others. Additionally, we discuss Biblical principles to help discern the unique works He has for us.

Something we REALLY want you to know is that our material is rooted in Scripture. All of our material has been vetted by godly, spiritual leaders. We encourage you to look through our material before committing to hosting a workshop. Email us at worththeriskofficial@gmail.com to find out more.

So now that you know a little bit more about our workshop, you are probably wondering what work is involved on your end when hosting a workshop. The good news: we have made it pretty simple and easy for you!

You will work with a team member throughout the entire planning process. Once you have agreed to host a workshop, you are presented with a checklist that details what is required from you (which isn’t a whole lot). Additionally, you or a designated team member will meet with a Worth the Risk team member three times throughout the planning process with additional email check-ins. These meetings can occur in person or virtually – whatever is best for you and your planning team!
