In Galatians 6:2 Paul says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
Many times we don’t share what’s going on or what has gone on in our lives because we fear rejection in our communities. The Enemy feeds us lies that if people really knew who we were or what we did, we would be rejected, so we stay silent.
This leads to no one ever REALLY knowing us. Our churches, bible studies, and small groups are filled with people who “know” each other but don’t really KNOW each other at all. The real power and freedom can be found when we start to share the truth about our lives with others. As we begin to live lives of transparency with our community, we begin to feel heaviness come off.
